A few desirables from The Vintage Typewriter Shoppe...

London 2012 posters...

12 of the UK's well known artists have been commissioned to each create a poster to promote the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games...

Artist include: Bridget Riley, Chris Ofily, Anthea Hamilton, Martin Creed, Rachel Whiteread, Howard Hodgkin, Bob & Roberta Smith, Fiona Banner, Tracey Emin, Gary Hume, Michael Craig-Martin  and Sarah Morris.

Posters will be on show at the London 2012 festival and are available to buy online for a mere £7.

I'm particularly fond of Chris Ofily's Unknown Runner and Fiona Banner's Superhuman Nude...Also loving the colours in Martin Creed's Work No.1273.

The 'Have nothing in your home that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful' print (shown below) was a collaboration between Paper Heart and Fox & Flyte with illustrations by Luke Edward Hall...It will be available to buy from the Fox & Flyte website shortly...

Happy Halloween at MAIDEN shop!

Paper Heart has been invited by MAIDEN shop and East End Prints to participate in HAPPY HALLOWEEN, where designers and illustrators have been asked to re imagine classic horror characters in an innocent and playful way. Head down to MAIDEN shop on Shoreditch High Street and pick up a print! The first three are available as high quality digital prints in A3 size and the 'I Bloody love you' is available as a screen printed A6 card. 

Preview Thursday 6th October 6-9pm.
Daily 11-7pm. Show runs til after Halloween.
